City students have brought laurels by bagging five of the top 10 positions in Panjab University's BSc third-year exam, results of which were declared on Saturday evening.
City students have brought laurels by bagging five of the top 10 positions in Panjab University's BSc third-year exam, results of which were declared on Saturday evening.
Ramandeep Kaur, a student of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana, secured the second position in University with 90.85% marks. Amanjot Kaur of the same college bagged fifth position by scoring 88.7% marks.
Navpreet Kaur, a student of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, came sixth position with 88.5% marks, while Manisha of the same college clinched the seventh position with 88.3% marks.
Ravneet Kaur, another student of Government College for Girls, bagged the 10th position in the university by scoring 88% marks.
The result has been put up on the PU website: http://results.puchd.ac.in/.
PU controller of examinations Parvinder Singh said 87.11% students had passed the BSc (general) third-year exam. As many as 3,895 students had appeared for the examination out of which 3,393 had passed, he added.
