Police have booked three people, including a woman, on the charges of cheating a resident of Daman Haveli village.

The accused, one of whom is a daughter-in-law of the victim, forged documents to get 13 acres belonging to the victim, Mohinder Kaur, in their name.

In her complaint, the widow Mohinder said, "After the death of my husband and son, I had got 13 acres registered in my name. However, my daughter-in-law Harpal Kaur along with Gurjant Singh and Karamjit Singh prepared fake documents and transferred the land to her name."
