The university authorities on Thursday closed down both entry gates of University. The girl students rued that lack of water supply in the washrooms, defunct RO system and poor food served in the hostel messes has made them to protest in the days of examination.

The university authorities also sealed entry too girls hostels and cordoned off the area.

Meanwhile, the University has postponed the morning exams schedule to held on today, and new dates will be announced soon.
