A minor girl committed suicide by consuming poison in Sundar Basti here on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Nisha (17), was a Class-11 student at a girls' school here.

A minor girl committed suicide by consuming poison in Sundar Basti here on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Nisha (17), was a Class-11 student at a girls' school here.
The police said that girl's father Bheem Singh informed that his daughter was in depression.
She was rushed to a local civil hospital, after she consumed poison on Wednesday night, where she died.
The police are investigating the reason for the suicide under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
The body was handed over to the family after the postmortem.
