One dead, two injured in road crash
Sanjeev Kumar, 22, a resident of Ramraipur village, was crushed to death by a speeding truck on Thursday evening outside the bus stand in Nawanshahr on Thursday. The truck also hit two other vehciles and a bus, injuring two others who were admitted to the local civil hospital.

Sanjeev Kumar, 22, a resident of Ramraipur village, was crushed to death by a speeding truck on Thursday evening outside the bus stand in Nawanshahr on Thursday. The truck also hit two other vehciles and a bus, injuring two others who were admitted to the local civil hospital.
The injured have been identified as Soni of Chiddori village and Tara Singh of Rurki Khas village. Sanjeev was studying in a private college and pursuing a diploma in electronics.
The accused, truck driver Joga Singh of Amargarh village, managed to flee from the spot.
