One killed as truck hits motorcycle
A man was killed after a motorcycle on which he along with another person was riding was hit by a speeding truck on Monday night.

A man was killed after a motorcycle on which he along with another person was riding was hit by a speeding truck on Monday night.
The incident took place near Wahid Feed Factory on Rama Road when the victim, Gurmit Singh, a resident of Kot Bakhtu, was riding a motorcycle with Birbal Singh. After a speeding truck (RJ-31-G-2633) hit their two-wheeler, Gurmit Singh died on the spot while Birbal Singh sustained injuries.
A case for causing death due to negligence has been registered against driver of truck, who has been identified as Dharampal Singh, a resident of Laleana village in Bathinda.
