Police bust gang, arrest 6 members
The crime investigation agency (CIA) staff-1 of police commissionerate, Ludhiana, claimed to bust the gang of robbers with the arrest of six on Saturday. The police also recovered two pistols and other weapons from the accused.

The accused have been identified as Deepak Ghain alias Ganja, Amandeep Singh alias Bau, Sandeep alias Billa, Lakhshay Khurana alias Sherry, Santosh Kumar and Vinod Singh. ACP crime Jaswinder Singh said the accused were hatching a loot conspiracy, when the police arrested them following a tip-off.
He said, “The accused were earlier associated with Mohini gang. Now, they have formed a new gang. All accused are drug addicts and facing trial in several criminal cases. The police have recovered one country made .32 bore pistol, one .315 bore pistol, one sharp-edged weapon and two iron rods from their possession. The police also recovered three motorcycles from them, which were looted by them during various incidents.”
