With a view to curbing crime in the district, The Rohtak police has decided to prepare a list of families with criminal background.

Rohtak superintendent of police Shashank Anand held a meeting of the officers of the district police In this regard and directed them to prepare data of such families, especially those who had been involved in land disputes.

The police officers were also told to keep an eye over the activities of the prisoners when they come out on parole. The district police have also discussed the sealing plan of the city during incidents of violence.

The SP also directed the officers to review the arms licences in the district and furnish the data of the use of arms. The SP's directions have come in the wake of increasing criminal activities and incidents of murder in the district.
