
Twenty year old girl ends life at PGI Rohtak
A 20-year-old student of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) committed suicide at girl's hostel here on Thursday. The deceased had been identified as Priya, a student of final year of lab technician course here and hailed from Jhajjar district.
According to the details, the victim was spotted hanging with a ceiling fan, when other girls visited her room on Thursday morning and the matter was reported to the institute authorities.
Rohtas Yadav, acting director of the PGIMS, said the body was sent for post-mortem examination and the cause of death could be ascertained only after the autopsy report.
Sub-inspector IM Khan, who is investigating the case, said while no one from the PGIMS has come forward with anything substantial to find out the cause of death, the police have initiated the probe into the matter.
