On Tuesday, Keerthy visited Tirupati where she had a brief interaction with the media. Reacting to a question about whether she has signed a biopic on the life of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, Keerthy said she hasn’t signed any new project since the release of Mahanati.

“I’m currently occupied with my other commitment. I haven’t signed any new biopic or a new film for that matter,” she said. Basking in the terrific run of Mahanati at the ticket window, Keerthy has joined the sets of Thalapathy 62, which marks her second time collaboration with actor Vijay after last year’s Bairavaa. According to the industry grapevine, Keerthy joined the sets of Thalapathy 62 on Sunday.

It is being rumored that Varalaxmi may be seen playing a negative role in the film, which is currently being filmed in Chennai.

Keerthy currently awaits the release of Vikram’s Saamy Square, a sequel to Saamy. Meanwhile, there are reports that Keerthy might be signed for SS Rajamouli’s next film with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. However, Keerthy is yet to clarify these reports.
