Confirming the news, director Surender Reddy said: "We trimmed about 20 minutes from the second half of the film. This decision we took after taking into consideration that the second half was quite lengthy."
In Kick, Ravi Teja played a character who was always hungry for a kick in life. In the second installment, the hero is always hankering for comfort.
An extension of Kick, the second installment in the franchise revolves around Ravi Teja aka Robin Hood, who plays the son of his own character from the first part. In Kick, the protagonist longed to get a kick out of everything he did. In Kick 2, the hero is after comfort.
The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Ravi Kishan, Brahmanandam, Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav in important roles. Incidentally, the Hindi remake of Kick starred Salman Khan and went on to become a huge hit.
