If she made your heart weep with her emotional performance in English Vinglish, Sridevi will leave you gasping for breath in this one: in the recently released trailer of director Chimbu Deven's Tamil film, Puli.
Deven's film is a period drama in which Sridevi is playing Soumiya, a warrior, while Vijay will be seen as a gladiator. Puli means tiger in Tamil. The film, which also features Sudeep in an important role, marks Sridevi’s return to Tamil films after a gap of 29 years.
Though the trailer doesn't boast of any out-of-this-world CGI, it has a ‘feel’ attached to it. And going by the presence of heavyweights like Vijay, Sudeep, Prabhu, Hansika and Shruti Haasan in the starcast, Puli is likely to receive a thunderous opening at the box office.
