RIO DE JANEIRO: Defending discus champion Robert Harting on Friday bombed out after straining his back while switching off a light with his foot. He sustained the lumbago on Wednesday night and on competition day, could only manage a best of 62.21m, finishing 9th to miss out on the final by 47cm.
