Indian shooters have clinched silver in women's trap team. The team consisted of Rajeshwari Kumari, Keer Manisha and Preeti Rajak bag 337 points in total, as they finish ahead of Kazakhstan (334) and behind China (355).

Aditi Ashok gets silver, falling on the final day! She was leading overnight, but Thailand's Yubol Arpichaya held her nerves and surged to pole position to clinch gold! South Korea's Hyunjo Yoo gets bronze. Meanwhile, in the women's golf team event, India finish in fourth position, falling three places down!

This is interesting! India have now shot off to gold medal position in men's Trap team event, thanks to an impressive 24/25 from Prithviraj Tondaiman. But the gap between the first and second (Kuwait) is only 1 point. This will go down to the wire!

As for the Indian men's golf team's performance, they currently find themselves in seventh place, trailing significantly by 12 strokes behind Hong Kong, who are third. Meanwhile, in the individual standings, Anirban Lahiri is holding the T13 spot, followed by SSP Chawrasia at T25, KH Joshi at T28, and Shubhankar Sharma, who is currently positioned at 32nd place.

India's Dipika Pallikal, Harinder Pal Singh sealed a 2-0 win against South Korea's Hwayeong Eum, Jaejin Yoo in their mixed doubles squash Pool A fixture. The Indian pair won 11-2 in Game 1 and then 11-5 in Game 2.

In women's trap, Manisha Keer is currently the highest-ranked Indian (6th) despite shooting a lowly 19/25 in her third round. Preeti Rajak and Rajeshwari Kumari are 10th and 11th respectively. India currently at bronze medal position in team event.

Zoravar Singh Sandhu is done with his rounds, finishing 23/25 in fifth and final round, currently standing 8th in men's trap event. Kynan and Prithviraj yet to complete the qualification stage. In the team event, India continue to remain in the silver medal position.

Aditi's lead narrows to just one stroke with only three holes remaining. The elusive gold medal she had her sights set on now seems to be slipping away. In a moment that highlights the fine margins in golf, Aditi missed a regulation putt that she had been effortlessly putting away yesterday, with the ball stopping just centimeters away from the cup. The 15th hole results in a frustrating bogey for her. Just three holes to go.

The pressure mounted with only four holes left, and Aditi must maintain her focus. In the fifteenth hole, Aditi showed resilience, executing a brilliant recovery from a bunker with a skillful loft, positioning herself for a chance to secure a par score. But Xiyu Lin from China delivered an excellently judged putt, earning a birdie on the fifteenth hole, closing the gap to just two strokes behind Aditi. Meanwhile, Arpichaya, who was also eyeing a birdie, overshoots her opportunity and settles for a par.

The golf course is alive with suspense as the competition unfolds, and it's not just Aditi Ashok and Arpichaya Yubol in contention. Xiyu Lin of China has joined the mix, and the stakes are high. Arpichaya was brilliant in the 14th hole, setting up a promising 15-foot putt for a potential birdie. However, her precise putting form let her down, and she narrowly missed the mark, keeping Aditi's two-stroke lead intact as they moved on to the fifteenth hole.

In the men's recurve individual qualification round, Atanu Das is fourth with 679 points after 72 of 72 arrows. Meawnhile, Dhiraj Bommadevara (675) is seventh, Tushar Prabhakar (668) is 15th, Mrinal Chauhan (667) is 17th. In the men's recurve team event, India is third, behind Republic of Korea (1st) and Chinese Taipei (2nd).

In the women's compound individual qualification round, Jyothi Surekha Vennam is first with 704 points and Aditi Gopichand Swami is fourth with 696. Parneet Kaur (687) is 12th, Avneet Kaur (685) is 15th. In the women's team compound qualification, India are on top.

It hasn't been a particularly successful day for the defending champion, Swapna Barman, but then she has managed to climb up the standings. With each passionate scream accompanying her javelin throws, her three attempts yielded distances of 43.78m, 45.13m, and 41.91m. On the other hand, Nandini, who had performed impressively in the long jump, struggled to find her form in the javelin event, with throws of 36.10m and 39.88m. Swapna currently sits in fourth place, while Nandini is in fifth in the Heptathlon javelin standings.

India lose in men's 81kg kurash round of 16 fixture! Aditya Sanjay Dhopaokar fell to a defeat against Afghanistan's Hassan Baiqara Rasooli.

Amlan Borgohain qualifies for men's 200m final, finishing third in his heat with a timing of 21.08. Good running by the Indian, he was in close battle with Japan's Shoto Uno, who finished in second place in his heat. Uno clocked 20.87 and managed to keep up with Amlan, who was second initially, but the Indian ran out of a little bit of steam there!

Soniya Devi has earned her spot in the semifinals of the women's 200m canoe event, taking fourth place in the heats with a time of 2:17.351. This achievement followed Megha Pradeep's fifth-place finish in the initial heat. As a point of clarification, the top three contenders secure direct berths in the final, whereas those finishing fourth and fifth will proceed to the semifinals.

What a start for Jyothi Surekha Vennam! India's top medal hope in women's compound event, Vennam scores 355 in th first half and is currently at the top in qualification. Aditi Gopichand Swami is 9th, while Avneet and Parneet Kaur are 18th and 19th respectively. In team event, Indian are on top as well.

Ten holes have been completed, and while Aditi Ashok remains in the lead, the competition has intensified during the 9th and 10th holes. Aditi endured two bogeys, missed a birdie opportunity, and found herself in a bunker. Meanwhile, the second-placed Arpichuya Yubol from Thailand has closed the gap by securing a birdie on the 10th hole. Aditi is still poised for a gold medal at the moment but her performance today hasn't been as comprehensive as yesterday.

Jyothi Yarraji has missed out on qualifying for the women's 200m final. She finished third in her heat with a timing of 23.78. The qualification rules are that the first two in each heat qualify and then the next two fastest also advance to the final! China's Huang Guifen (23.54) and Vietnam's Thi Nhi Yen Tran (23.75) take up those slots!

Nandini improves on her first jump by landing a distance of 5.94 meters in her third attempt, maintaining the second position. On the other hand, Swapna faced a stumble in her second jump, covering a distance of only 3.36 meters. However, she regained her balance in the third attempt but still managed just 5.71 meters. In the Heptathlon rankings, Nandini currently secures the third spot with a total of 831 points, whereas Swapna holds the seventh position. On to javelin now.
