If they are bold and sassy with their moves on-screen, in real life they are pretty coy when it comes to taking the initiative in a romantic liaison.
When it comes to making the first move, most of our actresses take a step back. They might be more than eager to strip on-screen but in real life they want to look as gentle as any next-door girl is.
But, what if they were asked to go ahead and propose to their crushes? The sultry sirens of Bollywood tell us the answer...
Whenever I have liked a man, both of us have approached each other. It's always been a mutual agreement. It has never happened that I take an initiative to get someone. I have never got anyone so irresistible as yet that I have to change myself to make advancement towards him.
As far as I am concerned I will never do it. I have liked so many people in parties and other events but I have never either made a pass at them or approached to say that I liked them. I think I like to be chased. I am like those old fashioned women who love to be followed rather than follow someone. I like men of my choice to come and share their feeling with me.
Bollywood list of coy girls doesn't end here. Many more sirens like Amrita Arora and Kim Sharma also figure in the list, who believe that taking a lead in love situation is not their cup of tea. Says Amrita Arora, "I have learnt from my past experiences that girls should never make a move. I have done it once and have felt humiliated. So, the best option is to wait and if the person has to come, he will come on his own."
