Paes-Zimonjic move into 2nd round of French Open

Leander Paes of India and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia moved into the second round of the men's doubles event of the French Open defeating Florian Mayer of Germany and Rogier Wassen of the Netherlands.

The sixth-seeded pair of Paes and Zimonjic won 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 in their opening round encounter.

In the second round, they will play the French duo of Nicolas Devilder and Marc Gicquel, who prevailed over Jordan Kerr of Australia and Sebastian Prieto of Argentina.
