Ahmednagar becomes Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra Cabinet approves name change

The proposal to rename Ahmednagar as Ahilya Nagar was first announced by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde in May last year.

Inter-caste couple set on fire by kin in Maharashtra
