DDMA Covid-19 meet: No more weekend curfew, odd-even system for shops in Delhi

Last week, the Delhi government allowed all private offices in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, outside of Containment Zones, to function with upto 50 per cent attendance. The DDMA had, however, advised the private offices to stagger office timing and the quantum of staff.

Will Covid-19 curbs be eased in Delhi? DDMA to decide tomorrow

Delhi reported a marginal spike in its Covid-19 tally on Tuesday after 6,028 people tested positive for the disease. This was a surge of 268 cases from Monday’s tally of 5,760 infections.

Delhi records 12,527 new Covid-19 cases, daily tests down 31.7%

The number of fresh Covid-19 cases per day in the national capital has been decreasing for four consecutive days now. Prior to the 31.4 per cent dip today, the daily tally had dropped 11.7 per cent on Sunday, and 15 per cent on Saturday.

Over 300 Delhi Police personnel test positive for Covid-19

Weekend curfew in Delhi: DDMA to meet again to discuss further restrictions

The Delhi government has imposed weekend curfew in the national capital on the orders of DDMA to check the surge in Covid-19 cases. Another DDMA meeting is scheduled for Monday where ‘total curfew’ is likely to be discussed, news agency PTI reported.

Delhi stares at more curbs as minister warns of positivity rate reaching 6.5%

The number of cases in Delhi have been increasing at a rapid pace in the past few weeks. On Sunday, Delhi reported 3,194 new Covid-19 cases, up from 2,716 cases reported a day earlier. While Sunday’s tally was the highest single-day rise in since May 20, the positivity rate stood at 4.59 per cent.

Red alert, total curfew: Delhi's fate under GRAP if Covid positivity crosses 5%

On Sunday, the city reported 3,194 new Covid-19 cases, up from 2,716 cases reported a day earlier. Delhi’s active cases increased to 8,397 on Sunday from 6,360 recorded until a day before, according to the government’s daily health bulletin.

Delhi: New Covid-19 cases drop below 400 for first time since mid-March

The city added 381 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday after conducting 76,857 tests, which means that just 0.5% of all people tested had contracted the infection.

303 vaccination centres shut amid lack of Covaxin doses

The bulletin recorded 414 vaccine centres spread across 299 locations on Friday for the beneficiary group comprising individuals aged over 45 years, as against 717 vaccine centres spread across 495 locations recorded till Thursday.
