Delhi’s Dwarka golf course to open by year end

The under-construction Dwarka golf course in Delhi will be the country's longest, spanning 159 acres with a total length of 7,377 yards. The course is expected to be ready by the end of the year and will feature luxury amenities such as audio-visual simulation rooms and capillary bunkers. It will also have one of the longest driving ranges in the country. The course will use MiniVerde grass for the greens and North Shore SLT for the fairway. Additionally, a nine-hole course and a six-hole chip and putt course are being developed. A luxury club and sewage treatment plants are also part of the project.

Realty expert to help DDA review schemes, boost flats sale

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has hired a private marketing agency and a real estate advisor to boost sales of its unsold inventory of flats. The move comes after the DDA incurred losses of over ₹18,000 crore in the last financial year. The marketing agency will handle advertising and promotion, while the real estate advisor will conduct a market analysis to determine why the flats remain unsold and suggest measures to increase sales. The DDA is expecting suggestions including reduced prices or increased amenities to attract buyers.

1,500 flats sold in new Delhi Development Authority scheme

Within a month of launching, all 50 flats in the Delhi Development Authority's residential scheme in Dwarka have been sold out, with a total of 1,500 flats booked across six locations in the city. The scheme, launched on 30 June, received an overwhelming response on the first day, with over 600 flats being booked. The most popular locations were Dwarka and Jasola, while Narela and Rohini saw the highest number of flats on offer. The scheme is still open for bookings, with no closing date announced yet.
