Central team to assess rain damages in Puducherry

Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and chief minister N Rangasamy had appealed to the Centre to depute a central team to the UT when it visits neighbouring Tamil Nadu since Sunday.

IMD alert: Depression over Bay of Bengal to cross Tamil Nadu by Nov 11 evening

Puducherry govt extends Covid lockdown till June 21, allows retail liquor sale

As per the orders issued on Monday night announcing the extension of the lockdown, parks, gardens, cinema houses, multiplex, auditorium, museum and libraries would remain closed and gatherings and congregations in any form were also prohibited.
