Filipino man goes on trip with pillow with wife's face on it when she can't join
In a post that has recently been shared by a Filipino man named by Raymond Tan Fortunado on his Facebook page, one can see how he took a pillow with his wife's face on it on a vacation.
Whenever we think of vacations, and we are not talking about solo trips, most of us would like to be accompanied by our loved ones and/or our partners. But sometimes, unfortunately, people might have to cancel on a trip because of whatever reason, be it work commitments, health emergencies or something else. And that is exactly what happened with this couple from the Philippines. According to a report by Philippine news outlet Kami, at the beginning of July, Raymond and Joanne Fortunado had planned a trip to Coron, Palawan. The latter, a freelance model, was compelled to unexpectedly cancel on her husband because of job obligations.
But if you thought that this would put a damper on the spirit of her ever-enthusiastic husband, then you are quite wrong. Raymond ended up going on vacation all by himself but with a pillow that had his wife's face printed on it. According to a report by Yahoo News, the couple is known to be quite clingy with each other. Fortunado took several pictures with his ‘wife’ while touring various regions of the island, and he even persuaded other residents to pose with the pillow. His wife's pillow can be seen tucked into bed with a sleeping mask in one image.
