Game of Thrones: Sophie Turner congratulates Maisie Williams on her sex scene in an NSFW video
Arya Stark and Gendry finally had sex in the latest episode of Game of Thrones and looks like no one could be happier about it than Sophie Turner.
While a lot of fans of Game of Thrones got uncomfortable watching Arya Stark get down and dirty with Gendry in the latest episode of the show, her onscreen sister Sansa appears to be quite happy about it. Actor Sophie Turner had a hilariously crude reaction to Maisie Willaims’ sex scene on the show and decided to share it with the world through Instagram.
Dressed in a white robe with her hair tied up, Sophie is seen sipping wine in the video. “In honour of Easter, I guess Game Of Thrones wanted the storyline to have a little Easter bunny hop, hop, hopping into that p****y. And that’s the tea,’ she said in the video and also tagged Maisie in it. Ned and Catelyn would not have been too happy about this. May they rest in peace.
Arya and Gendry reunited in the first episode of the new season after years apart. Their sweet reunion and hints of sexual tension found a lot of ‘shippers’ on the internet who wanted them to get together before the show ends. However, as soon as Arya started stripping off her clothes, fans realised this is definitely not what they had bargained for.
“Call me crazy, but it felt so weird watching Arya’s sex scene. Idk but I always see her as my little sister and I was so uncomfortable during that scene,” wrote a fan on Twitter. “I’ve waited for Arya and Gendry for 7 seasons but also seeing Maisie nude was SO uncomfortable,” wrote another. To make things clear, Maisie is 22-year-old right now but the discomfort is understandable considering we watched her grow up on the show in the last nine years.

Maisie also talked about the sex scene with Entertainment Weekly. She recalled how when the cast members first got their scripts, it was Sophie who told her that a scene like this is coming her way. She said: “Sophie said: ‘Whatever you do, you have to skip to this episode, this scene first’. So I just read that and it was practically all I knew about the entire season.”
Maisie said she did not believe it at first as the series’ showrunners, David Benioff and Dan Weiss are known for playing pranks on cast members. “At first, I thought it was a prank,” Maisie said. “I was like, ‘Yo, good one.’ And [the showrunners were] like, ‘No, we haven’t done that this year.’ Oh f—k!”
“David and Dane were like: ‘You can show as much or as little as you want’... So I kept myself pretty private. I don’t think it’s important for Arya to flash. This beat isn’t really about that. And everybody else has already done it on the show, so,” she said.
Maisie and Sophie are also known for having a tonne of fun on the sets. A lot of videos and pictures from the sets show them flashing crude signs and they have even said that they would smoke weed together between takes.
