No Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa this year? Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss could be the reason behind it

Probably the channel had to decide one premium show and it has decided to go with Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss.

Salman Khan returns to host Bigg Boss for the seventh time this year.

Salman Khan and Bigg Boss fans are waiting with bated breath for the opening of the 10th season of the celebrity reality show.

Salman Khan has already started promoting the show and it’s likely to replace Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi in October. But it has also impacted the airing of another reality show on the same channel, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, which usually precedes Bigg Boss in the same time slot.

Mumbai Mirror has quoted a source as saying, “In October, Bigg Boss will replace Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi that is currently on air, so there’s no slot for Jhalak this year.”

This seems like a possibility because there hasn’t been any promo for the next season of Jhalak yet.

If this happens then the channel might lose its traditional viewership for the dance-based reality show as a rival channel is going full throttle with their show, Dance+, which is similar in nature.
