according to a new deal, making him the highest paid actor in a US TV drama. The Australian star will eclipse Hugh Laurie of the
House
and Laurence Fishburne in
CSI
as the top paid actors in a drama series.
The 41-year-old had been receiving $280,000 for each episode of the hit crime series in which he plays a psychic with unusual powers of observation, reported
People
magazine online.
Hollywood insiders said the new deal guarantees Baker will stay with the show for another three seasons. As part of the new pay package with Warner Bros, he will also get a producer credit on the show.
