Malik and Shirwaikar were chilling in a dingy room when a streak of light fell on Shirwaikar’s face. Malik quickly grabbed her 1.5 megapixel camera and clicked a pix. The actress loved the photographs and coaxed him to shoot more.

She even egged him to take photography seriously. Malik is now doing just that. He has already snapped actors like Ali Hasan and Juhi Parmar. Sudeep Sahir is next on the cards.

Shirwaikar has appraised industry folks about his talent. But ask Malik if he plans to take up photography as a profession and pat comes the reply, “If I’m ever out of work, at least I know I’ll never have to go hungry now.”
