Jharkhand counting underway: Cong-JMM-RJD confident, BJP says ‘just trends’

Even as the Election Commission was counting votes cast during the Jharkhand Assembly election, a politcal war of words broke out. While the Opposition alliance, consisting of Indian National Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and Rashtriya Janata Dal, expressed confidence given their lead as per the trends, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party refused to concede defeat. Incumbent Chief Minister Raghubar Das claimed that trends shouldn't be relied upon and a government would definitely be formed under the leadership of BJP.
