Watch: Preparation & security arrangements for Maharashtra, Haryana polls

A day before Maharashtra and Haryana go to polls, officials were seen preparing for voting. Polling officers were seen leaving for their respecting polling stations from Mumbai and Ambala. Haryana police chief briefed the media about security arrangements in the state. Director General of Haryana police, Manoj Yadav, said that over 40,000 police personnel, over 13,000 paramilitary personnel, over 20,000 Home Guards and SPOs have been deployed. Both Maharashtra and Haryana vote on October 21, and results of the Assembly elections will be declared on October 24.
