Blow for Cong: Poster girl of Priyanka Gandhi's 'Main Ladki Hoon' campaign quits

The face of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra-led 'Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon' campaign, Priyanka Maurya has quit Congress. Uttar Pradesh votes from February 10, and the exit of key campaign face is a big blow to the Grand Old Party. Cong General Secretary has helmed women-centric poll campaign in the run up to the high-stakes U.P. polls. Apart from 40% tickets for women, Cong has promised smartphones and scooties in women's manifesto. Weeks before the election, Priyanka Maurya, the poster girl of the campaign, today joined the BJP.
