For the third time in the last three years, Google has been fined for violation of the European Union's antitrust rules. The European Competition Commissioner said that Google indulged in 'illegal practices in its search advertising brokering to cement its dominant market position'. Google has so far been fined a total of € 8.25 billion for antitrust rule violations.
