The Uttar Pradesh government has blamed Islamic group Popular Front of India for the violence during the anti-CAA protests in the state. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the PFI is an offshoot of the banned SIMI and added that they will not tolerate any anti-national activity in the country.
