The Canadian government has put a pause on the ongoing negotiations towards an Early Progress Trade Agreement, or EPTA, with India. India’s High Commissioner to Canada, Sanjay Kumar Verma, has confirmed that Trudeau’s team initiated the pause. The Canadian Prime Minister is all set to travel to New Delhi to attend the G20 summit.
