Watch: Surat installs GPS in public buses to ease travel for commuters

Under the smart city project, Surat now has services to provide actual and timely information of BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) buses. An app has been developed for this purpose which will show the bus routes, the time of reaching a particular bus stop as well as the traffic. It will ease the hassle for commuters and people who have come to work in the city. The commuters appreciated the move by the authorities. The service was earlier available only in Kolkata.
