Covid: Doctor refuses to wear mask at supermarket; case registered

A video of a doctor refusing to wear a mask in a supermarket in Mangaluru has gone viral. The doctor, identified as Dr Srinivas Kakkilaya, was seen in the video arguing with the store manager when asked to wear a mask. Face masks have been made mandatory in public places after the COVID-19 outbreak last year. Karnataka Police has registered a case against a doctor under Karnataka Epidemic Act, 2020.
