Covid update: 45 lakh tests target; aerosols & ventilation; 300+ doctor die

From Bharat Biotech’s vaccine target to increase in black fungus cases, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Government issued fresh set of guidelines to stop the spread of Covid-19. A notification by the office of Principal Scientific Adviser said that aerosols can be carried in the air up to 10 meters. The guidelines also said that well-ventilated spaces can reduce the risk of transmission from an infected person. Meanwhile, Bharat Biotech said it plans to expand Covaxin production to 1 billion per annum. The Hyderabad-based firm said it plans to produce additional 200 million vaccine doses.
