Covid update: Poll rallies allowed in India; World Bank’s economy projection

From MHA allowing polls rallies to World Bank projecting over the Indian economy, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) allowed political rallies in 12 states where elections are scheduled. Telangana, MP, UP, Gujarat, Karnataka among the states where rallies will be allowed. Meanwhile, The World Bank said India's economy is projected to contract by 9.6% in 2020-21 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The World Bank called it much worse than the payment crisis of the 1980s'. Also, US President Donald Trump called his Covid-19 treatment a “blessing in disguise”. Lauding Regeneron's antibody test, Trump said the treatment should be free.
