From the USA administering the vaccine to Delhi's intense lockdown for London, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. The USA administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNtech's) on Monday. US President Donald Trump congratulated America and the world. Meanwhile, the UK government announced a more intense lockdown in London as cases double at an alarming rate. Reportedly, scientists developed a new variant of the virus which they believe is the reason for such an alarming rise in cases. Also, direct flights between Delhi and Kolkata to take off daily from now. The state government had banned direct flights to and from Delhi and give other Covid-19 hotspots as cases increased.
