Upset over Ramdev's remarks on allopathy, resident doctors in Delhi launched a protest. Doctors sought an unconditional public apology or action under the Epidemic Diseases Act. Doctors from hospitals like Safdarjung, AIIMS, Hindu Rao have participated in the stir. The doctors wore black armbands, ribbons & held up placards to observe 'Black Day’. Doctors also donned PPE kits & had 'Black Day Protest' scribbled on the back of medical gear. Doctors associations have reiterated that the protest will not hamper patient care. Protest was called by the Federation of Resident Doctors Associations (FORDA) on May 29. Watch the full video for more.
