Bedi’s sarcastic jibe: ‘Kohli, Shashtri can now become curators’

The Indian cricket team is experiencing an era of “pitch-fixing' in which captains, coaches and team management of domestic and national teams are allegedly tampering with the spirit of the game for their convenience. Former India skipper Bishen Singh Bedi responded to this ongoing pitch controversy in an exclusive interview to HT, and said he believed that South Africa deserved more batting-friendly services. When asked if the curator has become more important than the players, Bishen jokingly responded, “Both Virat Kohli and Ravi Shashtri have got a job lined up, once they finish with the game. They (can) become curators.”
