IPL: Delhi Capitals players emotional after Amit Mishra’s farewell speech

Ace leg-spinner Amit Mishra was ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 after sustaining a finger injury. Mishra, who was performing well so far in the tournament, had to leave midway. Before bidding adieu, Mishra gave an emotional farewell speech to his teammates in the Dubai hotel. Mishra has been a part of IPL for all 13 seasons representing Hyderabad and Delhi. The seasoned spinner suffered the injury while playing against Kolkata Knight Riders on October 3. Delhi Capitals team posted an emotional video of Mishra's farewell speech. DC skipper Shreyas Iyer, opener Shikhar Dhawan and coach Ricky Ponting also appeared in the video. Mishra has 160 wickets in IPL, the second most for any bowler just behind Lasith Malinga. Delhi is sitting at the top of the table in the tournament along with Mumbai.
