Member of D-Company confronted over match-fixing in India-Australia Test

Aneel Munawar, a member of D-Company, revealed how international cricket matches were manipulated by a syndicate to an undercover reporter from Al Jazeera. When confronted over his confessions, Munawar made a swift exit from the hotel where he was meeting the reporter. In a sting operation conducted by the TV channel, Munawar gave information about a session in the drawn India-Australia Test in Ranchi last year, where two visiting cricketers allegedly helped fixers win money by scoring below the total set by bookies.
