Denmark PM ‘Assaulted And Beaten’ By Man In Copehagen After Assassination Attempt On Slovak Leader

Denmark Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was “assaulted and beaten” on a public square in national capital Copenhagen on June 7. The assailant, a male suspect, was arrested by the police. Denmark’s Environment Minister said that the PM was “shocked” by the attack. The attack comes less than a month after Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot multiple times in a deadly attack.
