Ahead of polls, weapon cache uncovered in Assam; AK56 rifles, revolver seized

Weeks ahead of voting in Assam, a huge weapon cache was found by police. Acting on an anonymous tip-off, a police team combed the jungle in Bishmuri. Two AK-56 rifles, a revolver, and 29 rounds of bullets, were found buried in the ground. Assam is in the middle of a heated election campaign with voting scheduled between March 27 and April 6.
