Ashutosh to recreate life of Buddha

Award winning Indian director Ashutosh Gowariker is to direct an English film based on the life of Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Spice Enfotaintment Ltd. will produce the movie, which is to be the most expensive film ever made in Bollywood at Rs 600 crores. Based on the book Old Path White Clouds by a Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, the movie will be shot in the Himalayas.
