Patriotic fervour in Bollywood

Last year saw Rang De Basanti sweeping most award functions and 2007 has Gandhi, my father to offer. Patriotism seems to be reviving at the box office. Patriotic films have always been a favourite topic with the Hindi Film Industry that dedicates a few movies each year to nationalism, patriotism, to India and the Indian freedom fighters. There have been movies on the Indo-Pak wars like Border and LOC and the Indo-China war too.
