Romancing the desert

The historical character, overwhelming geography and grandeur has made Rajasthan the perfect backdrop for many Bollywood films. Manorma six feet under is the latest flick, set in the mesmerizing deserts of Rajasthan. Over the years this desert state has constantly been one of the favourite locations for many filmmakers. Hindi film classics like Mughal-e-Azam were shot in Deeg Palace in Bharatpur and in the famous Sheeshmahal of Amber Palace.
