Scuba diving to generate awareness about marine exploitation

Gujarat Marine Educational Trust, a private institute, is trying to bring in as many volunteers especially children to educate them on marine biology and its rising exploitation through training in scuba diving. The training, though open to all, is attracting more students. With an aim to arouse public awareness about the environment degradation, the trust feels the state should come forward to promote awareness about marine life.
