Shabana Azmi wants more women to be empowered

Speaking at the Women Leaders in India Awards, Shababna Azmi said it is the whole society that needs to shoulder the blame for violence against women. Azmi said, "On the one hand, we feel proud saying that we have had a woman President and a woman PM...but it's also true that female foeticide is practiced in India."
