Theatre revives in Kashmir

A two-day theatre festival was organized in strife-torn Kashmir by the state cultural academy to promote latent local talent. The festival gave an opportunity to the locals to showcase their hidden theatrical talents. Appreciating the initiative of the state government, the locals said theatre is a powerful medium to provoke thought process. A separate theatre festival was also organised in Leh, a snow-clad region of the state.
