Vidya’s ‘dirty picture’ impresses audience

The much-awaited film The Dirty Picture hit the screens today and as expected, the film opened to packed houses. While the film has lived up to the expectations as far as performances, story and screenplay are concerned, but what has proved to be the film's USP is actor Vidya Balan, who has impressed one and all by a powerful performance of her character, loosely based on south sex siren of 80's, Silk Smitha. The 'Vidya fever' gripped Kolkata too where the movie buffs couldn't stop raving about the actor.
