Whitney Houston remembered by her fans

On the day before her funeral, fans of Whitney Houston remembered the hometown girl who became a global superstar. At the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, New Jersey, where Houston's body is resting, fans and residents gathered to say their goodbyes on Friday. Flowers, candles and a pair of glitter high-heeled shoes lined the sidewalk outside of the funeral home, as Whitney Houston's music played through speakers. Dozens of people waited in line to sign a condolence book in her honour.
